Introduction to Leveling

Many activities around the island will pay out experience points or "XP" which counts towards your level. As you begin to level up, you will earn Perk Points which can be spent on perks to increase various aspects and statistics or and unlock additional features such as the ability to mine Uranium. There are a few important perks such as Unlimited Stamina which will help you run without running out of stamina, or Mine Amount 1-4 which will help increase the amount of items you get per mining cycle.

Gaining Experience

Different actions will give you different amounts of XP. For example, simply being on the server will grant you experience points for "taking a slot" much like how you accrue a standard paycheck.

Experience Factors

Certain items or events can increase your experience gain.

In game, restaurant food items can help or hinder your XP gain. For example, Mullet Sandwiches grant an experience boost whereas Tiger Burgers, while they are fantastic for boosting processing speeds, will significantly reduce your experience for as long as the effects last.

Community leaders may also turn on server-wide multipliers for an event or reward. For example, Doug may bless us with 2x XP on public holidays.

History

Mash Gathering

Moonshine was previously created by gathering and processing "mash". Mash has since been replaced by sugar cane. Instead of using perk points to unlock mash, players build their farming level to grow sugar cane for distilling.
